How to maintain your Silent Gliss Autoglide Curtain Track
OK, we'll admit. This is a bit of a 'click-bait' article title, as the truth is, you don't need to carry out maintenance on your Silent Gliss Gliss Autoglide.
The 5 year warranty doesn't require any checks or actions to be carried out in order to be valid.
Older systems required drive belts to be tightened as they age and stretch, and tracks to be lubricated to keep friction down to a minimum so as not to stress the motor, but the 5100 just keeps going, day-after-day without a second thought.
The system is designed to keep working as provided. All the parts are of high enough quality to last well beyond the 5 years.
If any of the components get visibly dirty and you need to clean them, just use a slightly damp cloth, rather than any aggressive cleaning agents. A pH-neutral, non-abrasive cleaner, such as domestic washing up liquid can be used.
So, in summary, to maintain your Autoglide, just sit back and relax!
