Autoglide 5100 B

Wall button only

The 5100B comes with a wireless switch to open and close your curtains, and features a wall-mountable base. The switch can be removed from the base and used as a remote, then returned to the wall-mount for safe keeping. The wall mount is usually put next to your main light switch or favourite chair, so you always know where the controller is.

Touch and Go

All models have a feature called Touch and Go, where a small tug on the curtain fabric will start the motor to fully open or close your curtains automatically.

Manual override

The Autoglide 5100 can be manually overridden in the event of a power cut. No tools or alterations needed.

Controlling multiple tracks

Each controller operates a single channel. Set multiple tracks to the same channel and one controller will operate all of them at the same time. If you want independent control of multiple tracks from one remote, look at the Silent Gliss 10948 multi-channel remote.

Bay windows

The 5100 can be bent up to two times, or have one long, continual curve. This covers most 3-pane bay windows. If you need more bends, take a look at the Silent Gliss 5600 which can be bent as many times as required.

What is the difference between the Autoglide 5100 B, R, T, and TC?
All four models use the same track and motor. The difference is the controllers included: B has a wall button only, R adds a wireless remote, T adds a programmable timer, and TC includes all three (wall button, remote, and timer).
Can I add controllers later?
Yes. Any of the controls can be purchased separately in the future and added to your system. It is all compatible and you are not limiting yourself by the choices you make now.
Can the Autoglide 5100 be bent for bay windows?
Yes. The 5100 can be bent up to two times, or have one long, continual curve. This is suitable for most 3-pane bay windows. Simply select the bending option when configuring your track.
Do I need an electrician to install the 5100?
No. The Autoglide 5100 comes with a 5-metre cable and a fitted UK mains plug. Just plug it in. No electrician required.
Can I control multiple tracks with one remote?
If you set multiple tracks to the same channel, one controller will operate all of them at the same time. If you want to control multiple tracks independently with a single controller, look at the Silent Gliss 10948 multi-channel remote.
