Rawsons Retreat

Perched near the Kent coastline with views out to sea, Rawsons Retreat is a newly built home designed around one brief: make everything automatic. From the poolhouse to the evening lounge, virtually every window received a Silent Gliss installation.

The main living spaces use Silent Gliss 5600 electric curtain tracks with Vertical Wave curtains that draw open to frame the sea views and close at the touch of a remote. The gym, office, and poolhouse use 4960 motorised roller blinds in technical Puma fabric — hardwearing, easy to clean, and designed for rooms where moisture and sunlight are constant.

With so many windows of different shapes and sizes, measurement and fitting were critical. The tracks were custom-bent to follow the architecture, with multiple systems meeting at individual windows where the sightlines demanded precision.

Both the 5600 track and the 4960 roller blind are hardwired systems ideal for new builds. For existing homes, our Autoglide 5100 (plug-in curtain track) and 4955 battery roller blind offer the same quality without any wiring.
