Please measure your blinds to the nearest centimetre (cm), ideally using a steel tape measure as they provide better accuracy over longer distances.
For a roller blind inside a window recess:
In this case you'd usually choose the Ceiling fix bracket option below to fix to the top of the recess. You might select Face fix if you're screwing straight to the window frame within a recess. Enter the width and drop as measured according to the instructions below. Don't worry about taking off any size for clearance, we do this when building the blind. You'll receive a complete blind perfectly fitted to your recess.
a. Measure from point A to point B in the image below to get the width
b. Measure point C to point D in the image below to get the drop
We recommend measuring at a few different points, in case your window recess isn't exactly square, and using the smallest measurement.
How to measure inside a window recess
For a roller blind fixing outside of a window recess, i.e. to the wall
In this case you'd normally select the Wall fix bracket option as you'll be screwing into the wall. Make sure there's nothing around the window that will get in the way of your blind. Decide on the amount you want the blind to overlap the window at the top bottom and sides.

b. Measure point C to point D in the image below to get the drop
