How to install electric curtain tracks

The best-selling Autoglide 5100 electric curtain tracks couldn’t be easier to install.

This is an overview. For full instructions, see the Autoglide 5100 Fitting Guide.

First of all, there’s no cutting down required as we make them to your exact measurements. The tracks come to you bespoke to your sizes.

Installation can be carried out by someone competent at basic DIY projects.

The necessary steps are as follows:

•                 Measure and mark out the position of the supplied brackets as instructed by the accompanying instructions.
•                 Drill holes for the bracket screws and fit any rawl plugs (if required)
•                 Screw the brackets into place
•                 Clip the electric curtain track into the brackets
•                 Clip the motor onto the track
•                 Plug the motor into the mains electricity. A 5m cable and fitted UK plug are provided.
•                 Hang your curtains
•                 Refer to the Autoglide 5100 quick start guide to set the start and end limits of your curtain movement
•                 Press the correct button on the motor and controller(s) to synchronise them together

Voila! You have installed your electric curtain track.
